Personal experience and production goals summary:

Hello community,

I am looking for land to buy or lease to expand my small scale permaculture nursery growing organic native/edible bareroot trees and perennials including hazelnut, pawpaw, persimmon, chestnut, elderberry and others. Ideal growing space would be .5-1 acre relatively flat/gently sloped with a mix of both sun and shade. I would like to also grow woodland medicinals including goldenseal, black cohosh, and others so some woodlands and a longer term set up would be ideal. Long term goals to expand into a perennial polyculture system incorporating regenerative agroforestry using the surrounding forest. I have worked on organic farms of all kinds since 2014 and started my nursery business 2 years ago. Attended business planning class with Mountain Bizworks in Asheville, NC.  Participated in start up incubator farm growing a small organic market garden outside of Boone, NC in 2018. I am now looking to set down roots and hope to find suitable land within 30 minutes of Asheville Ideally land will have suitable housing on site, one bedroom/one bathroom, can be tiny and/or rustic. Please contact me if you have or know of anything available. Thank you!
