More info: I would like to own the land and lease to a farmer/farm family. I would prefer an organic operation, but certification is not as important as the operational practices.

Not a farmer, but interested in helping a farmer. Semi-retired business person, property manager in Asheville. I would like to own a farm property and "lease" to a farmer or farm family. The term "lease" might be a typical rental or a share crop arrangement or other arrangement that could benefit both parties.
