More info: We have had minimal farming experience. We plan to put together a cooperative of locals to work the land and share in the harvest. Primarily, our intention is to grow vegetables, minimal fruit and have some goats and possibly chickens.
Irrigation would be great, but if a well is present, that is a good beginning. Everything else on our list would be a bonus, but not essential.
We would not live on the property.

We have been growing vegetables on our property for 4 years. I am a photographer/film maker who is studying permaculture. My partner designs/creates clothes and she is a nurse too. We are looking for property ideally no more the 30 minutes from our home in Fairview. We love the area around Mt. Hebron Road in McDowell County.
