Personal experience and production goals summary:

I grew up spending summers working on my uncle's hay farm and helping friends with dairy and beef chores. I began working on a local farm in high school producing mostly corn and soybeans with about 50 beef cattle. Since moving to Newport NC with the Marine Corps, I have helped a good friend butcher cattle and pork and started raising pastured broilers on our small property. I am currently working in construction and hoping to find a property to start raising more chickens, to include egg production, with enough space to grow into a small pastured dairy and beef operation.
