Other qualifications:

More info: We moved here from Illinois a year ago. While living in Illinois, I fell in love with gardening and grew an amazing large garden for four years. I had far too much produce the summer we moved, so my daughter and I sold the bulk of the harvest at the local farmer's market and she used the proceeds for college. It was so much fun and such a joy to share my ability to grow yummy food with our community. I am looking for a piece of land where I can again grow an even larger garden or small organic farm with a goal to provide organic food for sale in the local community.

Production goals:

More info: In Illlinois I had a lot of success with raspberries and strawberries. Those were the most popular fruits that we sold at the farmer's market. I grew around 10 different varieties of raspberries. I am not sure how raspberries will do here, but I would love to try. I learned that fruits sell incredibly well at the farmer's market, so I am interested in growing blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, and melons, as well as fruit trees. I am open to growing vegetables as well.

The summer we took our produce to the farmer's market, we set up a facebook account entitled Francom Family Gardens. It contains no new posts as we have lived here for over a year, but you can see posts from what we sold the summer of 2022.
