More info: We are a family of five looking to homestead, and potentially cultivate certain crops on a larger level, but not a requirement. We are flexible on the amount of land. We'd prefer a house on the property that is move in ready. We're hoping to avoid conventional financing, and are open to a rent to own situation, if need be. We may also be interested in larger plots with multiple structures. Our options are open, and we are willing to entertain many possibilities, and are hoping to move soon. Personal experience and production goals summary:
I did a small amount of farming, indoors, outdoors, and greenhouse. This was on a very small level.
I'm very interested in cultivating a variety of functional and edible mushrooms. I would also like to cultivate microgreens on a large scale. I have an interest in a large vegetable and fruit garden with an extensive variety of crops. We all desire a chicken coop and potentially some larger animals as well. An orchard, or at least a few fruit trees would be ideal. We are also open to learning new things and are open to different producion endeveors and opportunities.
