We currently own a farm in Elon, NC. I've been growing vegetables organically here for 4 years now. We are on 23 acres but there is only about 3 acres of good useable farmland. We are looking to relocate to either the Cedar Grove area near Hillsborough, or potentially somewhere in Western NC if it seems right. We want to have around 5 acres under production while having the ability to use cover crops and rotation. For this reason, we're looking for around 10-15 acres of totally open and useable farmland that gets full sun. The minimum amount of land we would need is 25-30 if it were perfect.
