Looking for the following:

Type of opportunity:

Lease (1 to 5 Years), Lease (5+ Years), Lease with Option to Buy, Internship / Mentorship, Incubator / Mentored Lease, Employment. More info: We are young farmers looking for land to lease as we learn our farming style. We have no experience in leasing but are quick learners. We would like a property with housing on it and a reliable water source for irrigation but are flexible with everything else. A mentored lease is preferred as we are just starting out and still learning. In addition to looking for farmland to lease we are also looking at internships for this coming winter season (2017)

Incubator program, Farm business training, Academic degree in agriculture or related field. More info: Was a farm intern for a winter season (Sept-March). Worked at a plant nursery for a year. Currently working as a farm intern (March-present)

Production goals:

Flowers, Herbs, Orchard, Vegetable production, Vineyard. More info: Very interested in permaculture design and food forests. We enjoy experimenting with different types of organic farming practices and learning as much as possible about all aspects of farming. We would love to learn more and experience farming our own land

Personal experience and production goals summary:

I have been gardening since I was young. In college I realized that I wanted to one day own my own farm! My partner and I have made it our goal to learn as much as we can about plants and organic farming before starting our journey together as future farm owners. I worked for a season as a farm intern and absolutely loved it! I went for a change of pace and was a seasonal employee at a plant nursery where I gained a lot of landscaping experience. We both are currently working as farm interns and are learning a lot and cultivating ideas for our future farm!
