Looking for the following:

Type of opportunity:

Sale (Standard), Sale (Owner Financed), Lease with Option to Buy. More info: My husband and I are looking for a long-term home for our small, organic vegetable farm (Ten Mothers Farm, currently in Hillsborough, NC). We're open to a long-term lease, but would prefer the option to buy since we are looking to put down roots and invest in farm infrastructure. We would also like to be able to live on the farm (in an existing house or one that we would build).

Equipment & infrastructure:

More info: No equipment or infrastructure is necessary, but the following would be welcome: fencing, a well, and/or cold storage.

Current production on farm:

Vegetable production. More info: We currently have just under 1/2 acre in intensive, no-till production. We farm without the use of a tractor and sell through a 60 person CSA and to area restaurants. We're hoping to expand production to about 1 acre in the next few years.

Current farming practices:

Ecological production but not certified.
