Acres of cropland or tillable land 3.0

Looking for the following:

Type of opportunity:

Sale (Standard), Sale (Owner Financed), Lease (1 to 5 Years), Lease (5+ Years), Lease with Option to Buy, Incubator / Mentored Lease.

Equipment & infrastructure:

Barn, Well / Pond / Other water source, Greenhouse, Farmer housing, Farm equipment, Irrigation equipment, Cold storage (cooler/freezer). More info: Although not necessary, some form of season extension infrastructure such as a high tunnel or greenhouse would be preferred. If equipment and infrastructure are not currently present, but become necessary for growth and production abilities I would like to be able to have them built/purchased.

Current production on farm:

Herbs, Orchard, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Vegetable production, Vineyard, Woodlot or forest products. More info: I'd love to work with someone who is already running a production that will be different from my own to be able to cross-market, but if you are not producing now that is okay. I follow organic guidelines and practices, although I would not be pushing for certification unless it makes sense for the scale and production of the operation as a whole.

Current farming practices:

Ecological production but not certified.

Qualifications and goals:

Previous farming experience:

Volunteer, Employee

Number of years experience:

4

Other qualifications:

Farm business training, Academic degree in agriculture or related field. More info: I received a B.S.A. in Horticultural Sciences with a focus in Sustainable Food Production in my undergraduate career and also received a certificate in Organic Agriculture from the University of Georgia. While in school and for a season afterwards, I worked on multiple operations to diversify my experiences. These included our student farm where I worked for 2 and a half years on vegetable and medicinal herb production primarily, our research farm where I worked with a Masters student on lettuce variety trials for 2 years, and before moving to NC I worked on a 12-acre certified organic operation that specialized in annual vegetables, perennial fruits, culinary herbs and cut flowers.

Production goals:

Flowers, Herbs, Orchard, Vegetable production, Woodlot or forest products. More info: I would like to have a diversified operation with a primary initial focus in annual vegetables and cut flowers that is able to expand as time progresses if desired and economically viable.
