More info: We are insecticide-free greenhouses growers looking to expand our acreage. We would prefer to stay close to Pittsboro if possible but are open to other areas within Chatham County. Ideally, we would like 5-10 acres and a 10-year lease.

More info: We would like to have city water available at the site for washing produce. Additionally, it would be *nice* if there were some kind of building on the property where we could keep the farm's office and also have a working bathroom, but it's not a requirement.

Field crops, Flowers, Herbs, Orchard, Vegetable production.
More info: As mentioned, we are primarily greenhouse growers but we also grow field crops. We are insecticide-free and have 22,000 gallons of water storage capacity. Currently, we have six greenhouses. Most are in production for at least nine months of the year, if not year round. At the moment, we are growing/selling tomatoes, cucumbers, assorted herbs, assorted peppers, citrus fruit, assorted greens, eggplant, onions, shallots, garlic, potatoes, and succulent houseplants. We grow flowers on our land in the summer not to sell but to attract pollinators and support a healthy ecosystem.
Current farming practices:
More info: I am not sure how fully some of these terms describe us. We regularly add compost to our soil to fluff it up and re-introduce nutrients it may have lost, and we occasionally add organic and non-organic fertilizers to the soil to help enrich it. We are insecticide free and occasionally use organic fungicides to treat greenhouse molds and mildews.
