More info: Couple (Brooke,Kyle) looking for farm work, we have combined 2 years vegetable production and greenhouse experience using only sustainable ecological resources. No experience with farm machinery, however we are enthusiastic to learn new skills that will eventually be put into our own practice. Ideal oppirtunity would be employment on farm with ability to maintain a section for our own production to take to market. Implementing permaculture design is a priority to us. Brooke is currently enrolled in the Chestnut School in Herbal Medicine, online program based out of Weaverville, NC. Our goal is to eventually own land to implement our skills learned and create a sustainable homestead.

More info: Brooke has a passion for growing at risk medicinal herbs. Kyle is a serious vegetable production planner. We both have a passion for animals as well as farming and are not scared of dirty work.

Academic degree in agriculture or related field. More info: Will graduate the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine in 2019. Currently employed at Inlet culinary gardens an herb and vegetable nursery with two greenhouses in Myrtle beach, SC. Our own production of herbs and vegetables taken to local farmers markets. Working with a small local farmer, sharing market table. It is our goal in this life to shed light on sustainable local agriculture, moving away from large companies and supporting local American farmers.

With our combined enthusiasm and strong work ethics we make a great team and addition to your farm ! We are available for long term commitments, housing is a plus, but we have the ability to purchase a travel trailer if that could be put onto your land. We do have a dog, she is docile around children and animals and we must bring her along. In our current town there are not many opportunites for aspiring farmers, that is why we have began our search to find an opportunity that is fitting for our skills and your farm!
