Personal experience and production goals summary:

I was born into farming, it is in my blood.  My parents have been raising Registered and Commerical Angus cattle for quality beef since 1966. We are members of the North Carolina Cattlemens Association, NC and National Hereford Association, and the American Simmental Association. Our girls are members of the NC Junior Hereford Association as well as the National Association. Julie is also active within the Women of Farm Bureau whos motto is "our light shines for agriculture". My wife and I dream of keeping the family farm alive and going for our children and future generations.  Our kids love the farm life and are currently involved in 4H, Livestock Judging, and showing cattle. We currently have a small herd (15) of Registered Herefords, Registered Simmentals, and Commercial Angus. We are limited due to our current land size and holding public jobs off of the family farm. Our goal is to double or triple our herd size, keep agriculture alive, and help feed America!
