Aquaculture, Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Christmas trees, Fallow, Field crops, Flowers, Hay or pasture, Herbs, Hogs, Orchard, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Sheep/Goat (Dairy/Meat), Vegetable production, Vineyard, Woodlot or forest products.

Current farming practices:

Biodynamic, Conventional, Certified organic, Transitioning to organic, Ecological production but not certified, None, the property is not being farmed. More info: If able to secure a long term arrangement I would be interested in certifying the land bio-dynamic and organic. Although this is not a deal breaker either although I intent to farm the land sustainably and responsibly.

Farm business training. More info: I am currently working and learning on an organic vegetable and flower farm. I am also attending a year long financial planning farm class that is enlightening me on the financials of running a successful farm business. In the past I have worked with poultry and rabbits as well.

Production goals:

Field crops, Flowers, Herbs, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Vegetable production. More info: I would like to responsibly farm organic vegetables and cut flowers; providing the community with healthy and local products. I would also like to help mend the broken food system by offering a sliding scale CSA to parts of the community that cannot afford the full price. As well as members who are able to afford the full price of my products, as well as servicing farmers markets, local grocers, and florists. In the future I hope to design and provide floral arrangements and bouquets.

Personal experience and production goals summary:

I have had a deep rooted passion for sustainable farming since I was introduced; I find great pleasure in working outdoors and providing my community with local and healthy food products as well as utilizing responsible practices that do not harm the planet.
