Looking for the following:

More info: I'm looking for land that hasn't been exposed to pesticides/herbicides recently.

Qualifications and goals:

Previous farming experience:

Volunteer, Employee

Number of years experience:

5

Production goals:

Orchard, Vineyard. More info: I am seeking land on which to: 1) Grow rare (largely Native) wine grape varieties bred in the 19th century and especially adapted to the Southeast. These grapes have great potential for high-quality organic wine production but were mostly abandoned and forgotten post Prohibition. 2) Establish a tree-crop/perennial nursery of high value fruit, nut, leguminous, and fodder trees. Only organic / ecological practices will be used although certification may not be obtained.

Personal experience and production goals summary:

I have worked and volunteered on organic farms in the U.S. and volunteered on farms in Canada, and Europe. I have also worked extensively as a professional ornamental gardener utilizing organic practices. I have collected germplasm of rare and valuable wine-grape and tree-crop varieties for some years now and am seeking land on which to permanently locate and propagate these valuable perennials. I would be happy to provide more details about myself and the potential operation with interested parties. Thank you for reading.
