My main desire is to grow healthy, nutrient-dense food for people and wildlife, in the ways that build and nourish the soil as the base of the farm and plant life. Through on-contour swale rainshed catchment land sculpting, intensive and diverse cover cropping and coppice plantings, free waste mulch importation, biochar creation, safe manure composting practices, we will increase the soil fertility continually for generations to come.
Food and medicinal herbs (as well as products as diverse as tempeh, kombucha, culinary/medicinal mushrooms, tinctures, salves, dried herbs, will be sold to local co-ops, farmers markets, friends or donated to causes of environmental-social justice.
We will be a bright light of an example what can be done and what is already being done in other places, farming in harmony with nature.
