Looking for the following:

Type of opportunity:

Sale (Standard), Sale (Owner Financed). More info: I am looking to buy 10 - 30 acres farmland for my retirement home. I intend to plant trees and manage them. It would be nice to return a plot of farmland back to woods for natures sake. I prefer a parcel with a stream or pond. The plot needs a southfacing long-range view over the parcel with good road access close to where the house would go. I'll need good internet as I am a published author and must stay connected. I would prefer to situate the home on top of a gentle ridge or hill. The home will be built to blend well with the land. I'm in no hurry. I will be retiring in 8-10 years. We can even work out a discount if you want to use the land untill then.

Equipment & infrastructure:

More info: I need access to good internet. The land must support a well. I must have access to electricity and mobile phone signal. No radon gas issues.

Current production on farm:

Aquaculture, Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Christmas trees, Fallow, Field crops, Flowers, Hay or pasture, Hemp, Herbs, Hogs, Honey bees, Orchard, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Sheep/Goat (Dairy/Meat), Vegetable production, Vineyard, Woodlot or forest products. More info: I intend to plant trees. I prefer plain cleared field.

Current farming practices:

More info: It doesn't matter as long as you don't use the land for a toxic dumping site. I'll not treat the land harshly.

Qualifications and goals:

Other qualifications:

More info: I am not looking for workers.

Personal experience and production goals summary:

I don't know as I will be learning as I go. I intend to plant some trees that will bear fruit and nuts, but more trees for high quality hard wood. It depends on the land and soil and what it will sustain.
