We are a family of six adults looking to North Carolina in order to establish our own "old home place". Our dream includes small-scale, small-market farming, and living a quiet, self-sustainable life.

More info: We are looking for property open and wooded with a creek, clean natural spring water source, and a private location. Fencing, outbuildings, and/or equipment would provide a huge added benefit.
Existing Farmer Housing for six adults is necessary. (on site 2500 sq.ft. home would be ideal, or other on site additional housing)

More info: We practice no-till farming, and use plant-based preparations to activate soil life and plant growth using minerals, plants, and manure. We create our own soil using natural organic materials from land and forest that encourage perfect decomposition. Plant yield, quality and flavor has increased each year in our family garden.

More info: Knowing that "soil is the gut," we began our farm experience with a rocky, sandy lot. We concentrated our efforts on soil fertility management through organic cultivation and preparation. We have three years work experience transitioning soil-health into healthy food.

Our production goals include "farming for health": The idea of producing good health by eating sustainble foods grown in soil nurtured by natural means and farming practices. We are interested in connecting with NC neighbor/farmers not only to increase our education, and also for reducing the "miles traveled" by our food.
