More info: My girlfriend and I are seeking land to purchase or eventually own. We have each been farming vegetables for 5 years with some experience raising sheep and chickens. Our goal is to have a fully sustainable homestead with a produce based business and an animal rescue. We are open to many different opportunities anywhere in the state.

Equipment & infrastructure:

More info: Any equipment available for our use would be put to good use and kept up well. If equipment is available, great. If not, that's ok.

Current production on farm:

Aquaculture, Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Christmas trees, Fallow, Field crops, Flowers, Hay or pasture, Hemp, Herbs, Hogs, Honey bees, Orchard, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Sheep/Goat (Dairy/Meat), Vegetable production, Vineyard, Woodlot or forest products. More info: Interested in all types of operations. We would be open to land that has been used for livestock previously although we are not interested in the production of animal products.

Current farming practices:

Biodynamic, Conventional, Certified organic, Transitioning to organic, Ecological production but not certified, None, the property is not being farmed. More info: Any practice.

Incubator program, Farm business training. More info: I am currently a 2 year employee at a research farm in MD. I manage vegetable production, ag-education programs and maintain the grounds and infrastructure. Tracy is currently the manager of an urban farm. I was previously the assistant farm manager of an organic farm in the caribbean where she and I met and farmed together for 2 years. She has apprenticed on a farm in NC in the past. We both have previous volunteer experience on organic farms.
