Looking for the following:

Type of opportunity:

Lease with Option to Buy, Internship / Mentorship, Incubator / Mentored Lease, Business Partnership. More info: I have a farming system I've been working on for a few years that I'd like to expand testing on. I've already received a grant from a local food bank in Ohio to build and test one of these systems. The goal is to increase the amount of food produced and decrease the amount of land required to produce it. This system (on paper) has significant potential to produce a lot of food in a small area.

Equipment & infrastructure:

Barn, Well / Pond / Other water source, Greenhouse, Farmer housing, Farm equipment, Processing facilities, Cold storage (cooler/freezer). More info: Realistically, I can work with very little equipment. I just need a water source and a greenhouse preferably so that I can test the year-round growth potential of the system. If one is not available, I could also work to help build one as I am doing that under my present grant program.

Current production on farm:

Aquaculture, Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Christmas trees, Fallow, Field crops, Flowers, Hay or pasture, Hemp, Herbs, Hogs, Honey bees, Orchard, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Sheep/Goat (Dairy/Meat), Vegetable production, Vineyard, Woodlot or forest products. More info: This system is incredibly versatile and doesn't really have any limitations as to where/what type of farming it needs to use or be around.

Current farming practices:

Ecological production but not certified. More info: This system is not yet certified organic, but the goal is to build it without the need to use anything that people would not find readily available on their property, this includes non-traditional irrigation, and non-electric water pumping, as well as natural fertilization.

Qualifications and goals:

Previous farming experience:

Volunteer, Manager

Number of years experience:

3

Other qualifications:

Incubator program, Farm business training. More info: My background is as an executive marketing consultant. I was the COO of a successful marketing/consulting firm, working with the largest businesses in the world, often directly with their c-suite executives to overcome business challenges. I also have experience in helping startups receive funding and put together actionable and realistic business plans that will help them build a solid foundation for success.

Production goals:

Aquaculture, Field crops, Herbs, Vegetable production. More info: The goal is to maximize the production of root crops, vegetables, herbs & fruits and also fish from these unique systems. I'd like to have a family of 5 be able to be fed in less than 250 square feet year round.

Personal experience and production goals summary:

My personal experience with agriculture is limited. However, I have been researching and testing aquaponics systems for over three years, first on a part-time basis, and now full time. My real experience lies in invention and creating solutions that both solve problems effectively and are economical/market viable.

My approach to things is to first look for the root of an issue, and then find ways to attack the root of the problem with new invention or adaptation of other ideas in the right combination to overcome complex challenges.

By God's grace, I have experienced success in this. First with inventing a system to help small businesses overcome the challenges that Amazon would pose to them by helping them increase their ability to market more products on their websites much more quickly and reach a level of catalog scale that is on par with Amazon (increasing consumer choice). Second, by unpacking Google's search algorithms through testing and inventing an algorithm that allowed businesses to dominate search results in the most prominent real estate on Google for retailers (Google Shopping).

My current undertaking is to take the principles of agriculture and apply them to a unique system that I've invented to increase the amount of food produced on a smaller plot of land. This could help farmers increase production and variety of crop on their land which will help lead to an increase in food security across the country.
