Well / Pond / Other water source. More info: Must have access to a water source- be it pond or pressurized water.

Current production on farm:

Cattle (Dairy/Beef), Hogs, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Sheep/Goat (Dairy/Meat), Vegetable production. More info: I currently run a small scale hog farm (pork sales direct to consumer) and also work on another farm in diversified livestock production.

Current farming practices:

Ecological production but not certified. More info: In my farming I seek to honor the land, the animal, and the people involved. This plays out in many ways, but one main way is by moving the animals frequently on the land to increase quality of life for the animals and decrease negative impacts on the land.

Personal experience and production goals summary:

I have a background in arboriculture as a tree climber and pruner. Since then I have transitioned to farming. First I worked at a 2 acre intensive vegetable farm. After that I switched to another small scale farm to work with livestock. I currently work there taking care of chickens, pigs, sheep, and cattle. I also run a small scale hog farm where we raise feeder pigs to finish and sell the pork directly to consumers.
