Jeremy Homesley

I have a special ability to let land show me what it wants to produce, and I don't fight against the current when it comes to farming. I listen, I study, and then I go to work, and I never quit.

Personal experience and production goals summary:

Started a small homesteading operation back in 2010, started with a Boer goat, and 6 egg laying hens. Built their barn, their coop, and constructed and maintained a hot wire system electric fence. Grew from there into a herd of 16 Dairy goats, nubian and alpine breed, and 50 chickens for eggs and meat. Also grow multiple crops and focus on canning and food storage. Also operate a small, self-managed Hunting Club that uses some of our nearly mature forests to generate a little economic activity even in the 'off season'. Harvest resources from otherwise waste or overlooked areas, build strong, simple structures for housing animals and materials. Also use a 1951 Farmall Cub tractor and am fairly proficient at doing my own repairs and services. Specialize in managing programs and practices in hard to reach areas, that require travel by foot and working by hand.
