More info: Family of 3 looking to eventually own a piece of farmland. We have 4 horses, 1 dog, and 3 chickens. We want a place for our 9yr old to experience the farm life. My 17yo will be attending ETSU this fall, & spends 1/2 in Cherokee, NC with her father. I was born/raised in Bryson City, NC, the next town over. Our town was small in 1982. Now it has been taken over by tourist. The prices of property that we need is beyond affordable for the locals. My husband is a licensed electrician, I am a RN, & we cannot afford a placein our hometown, even rent is crazy! We are hard working, honest, and flexible. Can provide references. We would like to be no more than 2-3 hrs from Bryson City, NC. Excited!!

Personal experience and production goals summary:

My husband and I both have many years of riding and interacting with horses. We have started our first TN Walking Horse stud and filly. We trail ride our other 2 horses. One is a 2yr old who may end up showing. We bond with our horses early on and begin working with them immediately. We love horses and so does our son. We train and break horses too.
