We have anywhere from 1 acre to 6 acres to rent or food share depending on your needs. Land is prime farming land. Topography is very flat. Soil is a sandy loam. pH varies but around 6.5. Creek runs along. Currently there is no well on the property :-( Close to the I-40. Around 15 min from Black Mountain and 30 from downtown Asheville. The land has been resting for 2 1/2 years to build up the soil biology.

Our Farming Modality: Our original idea was to farm the land using Masanobu Fukuoka and Permaculture techniques along with no till. We were also thinking to incorporate a market garden on a portion of the acreage using techniques provided by Jean-Martin Fortier and/or Paul Kaiser of Singing Frogs Farm.
