Property Description

Eliada Farms is a garden-based program within Eliada Home, a non-profit in West Asheville. Eliada Farms' three main focuses are: crop production, agricultural education, and agritourism. We have 2 greenhouses, a 6-acre corn field for our annual corn maze, and a 1/4-acre market garden. We are seeking 2 part-time seasonal farm interns for the 2024 season (These are unpaid internships).

Seeking two Seasonal Farm interns whose part-time work will directly and indirectly impact the lives and needs of our students, their families, and our community. Eliada’s Campus Farm Program was revitalized in 2018 as a return to Eliada’s agricultural roots, with a goal of providing fresh local produce to the children and greater community. Eliada has offered rewarding, impactful, and meaningful work for over 100 years making us one of the longest-running nonprofits in the Asheville area and the state of North Carolina.
