Property Description

Located just outside Oxford, NC just off of I85 about a 35 minute drive to the Research Triangle. Looking for an energetic couple or individual who is interested in continuing a 70 year family farm heritage on this land. The farm was a flu cured tobacco farm through the late 70s at which time it switched to cattle, hay and bean production. Also at that time a ornamental field grown nursery was started. The nursery is a 12 acres NCDA Certified Nursery growing ornamental trees and shrubs for the wholesale market. It is drip irrigated and has a protective deer fence. On the main farm there are 60 acres of pasture and hay land and about 40 acres of woodland that supports a woodmizer sawmill. There is another 300+ acres of farmland available for expansion. The owner would like to expand and continue an integrated farming operation that would reflect current market demands and best use of his land resources. He is open to a mentor and or a business partnership arrangement for the right individual.
