Property Description
20 or slightly more acres in north Iredell County with small pond and stream. Some old pasture and some, once farmed, hayfields. Fencing in need of repair, barn roofs too. Was once a fine family farm but has not been worked since the elders aged out. I inherited it from afar and would like to preserve it as a farm with land and water conservation measures in mind. I live here but am too old to do this myself and too young to let it go by the wayside. Needs to be cleaned up a bit, the elders were not able to, apparently, and some things look terrible. Had cows on it 2 years ago but the lesee didn't put anything into it and scaled back their herd to nothing. Looking for a leasee who could restore it to it's former glory whether that be in organics, no spray, grass fed, etc.etc. etc.

not sue what to write here. Open to someone who has talent and vision for bringing the land back to life. i'd like to restore the quail and turkey on this property. It would be nice to have a small bee operation. 5 acres per hive. I'd be interested in aquaculture, or agriculture, trees, flowers, herbs, critters....channel catfish farming? orchard?

I just repaired my machinery from others returning it broken- to the tune of $2300.00 Not sure I'm willing to share again. Barns need a little tin restored ion the roofs. Fences in need of minor repair, some could be removed, but the brush has to be cleared from them. I couldn't find anyone this year to take the hay off so the fields are now brushy somewhat. The grass is good in them, it's just got some straw and burrs growing now.
