The LLC owners of this urban farm are exploring additional uses of this urban farm - The Well Fed Community Garden. In addition to growing lots of vegetables that are yielding $1,500+ a week sales at a local farmers market, it is just now being used as a location for Therapeutic Agriculture for Wake County young people that are vulnerable to mental illness. The LLC owners are also exploring its use by the Wake County Public Schools for 'farm visits', however nothing has been finalized yet. If these programs are successful, the rent amount would be reduced accordingly, with the farmer only coordinating the visits and welcoming visitors - but not servicing them.
