Our Farmer Incubator Program is located in Alexander, Buncombe County - 10 miles from Asheville, NC. We provide land, infrastructure, equipment and training at reduced rates to beginning and limited resource farmers. See our website for more details.
Our Farmland Protection Program provides farmers with a means to preserve their family farms or farmland for perpetuity. We often work to raise funds from the USDA ACEP-ALE Program and the NC Ag Development and Farmland Preservation Program to purchase conservation easements.
The Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA) is a farmer-driven, membership-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps people in the Carolinas grow and eat local, organic foods by advocating for fair farm and food policies, building the systems family farms need.
