Looking for the following:

Type of opportunity:

Sale (Standard), Sale (Owner Financed), Lease with Option to Buy. More info: I would like to have enough land for vegetables, barn for chickens to lay farm raised eggs and barn for meat chickens to process. I also would like to have enough property to build a chicken processing facility so I can sell to customers.

Equipment & infrastructure:

Barn, Fencing, Well / Pond / Other water source, Greenhouse, Farmer housing, Farm equipment, Processing facilities, Irrigation equipment, Cold storage (cooler/freezer). More info: To make this dream come true, I would need a barn for storing all necessary equipment to manage farmland. Equipment needed to grade, mow, and mulching for gardens/crops. Large chicken coops for eggers and large coops for meat birds. An FDA approved chicken processing building for processing home grown chickens. I have a plan for what is needed for my projects. What type of chickens for eggs, what type chickens for meat, how to process chickens and what I need to make it happen. I just need help in the financial phase of this project. I would love to keep it in my small town of Hayesville, NC. "Clay Country".

Current production on farm:

Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Vegetable production. More info: Right now, I have chickens for eggs and chickens for meat. I can only process a small number of fresh chickens for family and friends. I'd like to take it to the next level. I'm under the Agriculture Department for my business now. But for me to go to the next level, I would need a processing building and larger coops. And for vegetables, I need a larger piece of property to level up.

Current farming practices:

Transitioning to organic, Ecological production but not certified. More info: On my farm, I do not use any chemicals for any reason. My chickens, not to mention my cats are always out and about and do not want them to be affected by any non-organic matter. I also want what I eat and sell to other to be as good and healthy as possible.

Production goals:

Field crops, Poultry (Broiler/Layer), Vegetable production. More info: I want to be able to grow enough vegetables, chickens and eggs to supply many of our farm stand business'. I would also love to start selling to our local farmers and small grocery stores. I want others to see that this is possible. We need more farmers to come aboard and provide great food products.

Personal experience and production goals summary:

I grew up on my grandparents farm where I watched my Grandmother can everything under the sun. I watched my Grandfather till the gardens with a mule and old gear. We had no heat/air and no running water at that time. It was a long time ago but I learned from the best. I have a passion for growing herbs and vegetables and I also can everything under the sun. My business is Two Country Hens and I sell  my products online, to small grocery stores, vineyards, orchards and more. I want to go further and help provide good foods to future customers.
