I am looking for land to either purchase or work for a business endeavor involving growing organically or regeneratively

My current status is small organic vegetable and herb garden with small soap and non-toxic hygiene business. I would like to create a farm-stand that involves my crops as well as other products from local farmers, cottage kitchen and local artisanal products like beeswax, bread etc.

The operation would be fully organic with composting, companion planting, biodynamic farming.

  • Farmer housing
  • Barn
  • Fencing
  • Greenhouse
  • Farm equipment
  • Irrigation equipment
  • Cold storage (cooler/freezer)
  • Well / Pond / Other water source

Equipment and infrastructure details

My preference would include equipment and infrastructure like a barn, fenced pasture, sow able land or plantable plots with some tools, big machinery is not needed due to no-till method, a broad fork is all that’s needed for that method. We will need irrigation to reach the crops. A greenhouse would be preferred for early seed starting. Stanchions available for milking and cares. If woodlands for medicinals is available that’s great too. A building that could include a farm stand, freezer, fridge would be preferred for preservation of crops and goods.

  • Sale (Owner Financed)
  • Lease w/Option to Buy

Opportunity details

I would like to purchase or be bestowed farmland to continue growing food and stewarding land for future generations.

  • Biodynamic
  • Regenerative
  • Certified organic

Practices details

Working in harmony with the land, animals and the natural waste of these things we would create rich soil from use of manure and organic compost. I would like to plant native fruit species to encourage a healthy environment where pollinators can thrive. Biodynamic has always been the way we see things working optimally, letting natural predation occur among the fowl and the bugs etc. Weed control through natural means like hand picking, mulching and cover crops. Animal husbandry would be a specific aspect with the larger animals.

  • Flowers / Herbs
  • Honey bees
  • Sheep/Goat (Dairy / Meat)
  • Vegetables

Goals details

Ultimately we would like to product organically and regeneratively raised vegetables, fruits and animal products while keeping the soil health as a major aspect of our work. We believe soil microbiome depicts whether food is nutritious or not. Our goal is to either do a farmstand, a CSA or become part of the local Farmers Market during season. We would like to start growing and harvesting real food.

Experience details

I was raised by vegetable gardeners in Minnesota, roughly 1/4 an acre. I have worked since 2021 on multiple different farms and different ecosystems. I have farmed in Hawaii on 5 acres, Montana on 3 acres, Guatemala on 2 acres and now in my foreseeable home in North Carolina. I have been taught in organic, regenerative practices and usually employed on a work-trade basis.
