Plan
The goal is to build a vertical aquaponics farm and BSF farm, powered by 100% renewable energy. We aim to buy the farm or sign a Lease to Own contract for the farm.

We will build a small solar array to power the pumps for the farm. We will use solar thermal for heating the water. There will be battery backup. Our aim is to remain off grid as much as possible. The Black Soldier Fly farming is our feed business.

We grow shrimp, catfish, cucumbers and BSFs. The farm is a closed-loop system. We will grow 48,787 lbs of shrimp annually. We will grow 17,463,600 lbs of cucumbers annually. We would like a minimum or 5 acres.

Experience details
We have successfully built the pilots for the Vertical Aquaponics and the BSF business. I have education certifications for Recirculating Aquaculture Supply (RAS) systems and Solar, Battery and Solar Thermal Installations. Our goal is to be as off-grid as possible in our closed loop farming model. We grow 75% of our feed and power our farms to ensure success against rising energy cost. Feed and energy are our two biggest expenditures and we build our system to control those costs for the life of the farm.
