Hello! After working for and learning from others for the last seven years, I feel about ready to do something of my own

I want to focus on building up the soil, planting as many native species as I can, incorporating animals into the farm’s infrastructure, educate and support the underserved community, and build community through food and the arts. I’ve learned so much from so many farmers around the world, and I want to bring the best pieces to some land to help as many people as I can.

Opportunity details

Do I have the funds right now, no. Do I know what I could do with a piece of land if given the oppurtunity? One thousand percent. I’d rather not take out a massive loan to the government, and instead work and learn alongside someone, prove myself, and hopefully create something that a small part of it could be mine.

Experience details

I’ve spent seven years volunteering and then working on farms in various states of being, from full and established production farms, to pieces of land where the owners gave full reign to plan and produce.  I’ve worked with most animals, and feel strongly about proper animal husbandry. I’ve learned about soil science, permaculture and sustainability. I respect the land, its history, and want to honor all those who have come before, and who have shared their wisdom.
