Hello I’m a aspiring 1st generation rancher and love the agriculture way of life just trying to get my own thing started

Depending on how much land I acquire I plan on starting small with a Cow/Calf operation with a mix of Brahman cows and Angus bulls.

  • Fencing
  • Well / Pond / Other water source
  • Lease (1 to 5 Years)
  • Lease (5+ Years)
  • Cattle (Dairy / Beef)

Goals details

Run a Cow/Calf operation when I get my first ones on the ground I will sell my bull calf’s after weening while growing my heifers till they are yearlings and then selling them off. Every year or two I will keep 1 heifer behind as a replacement for any older cows that can not breed anymore or for younger cows that just won’t take anymore.

Experience details

I’ve been around the farming and ranching industry my whole life. While never having any cattle of our own I want to be the first. I spent over the last 6 years traveling and acquiring knowledge on how to run and manage a cow/calf operation. I’ve been everywhere from Virginia all the way down to Florida and even out west as far as South Dakota on ranches learning how to operate and run a business like this.
