Opportunity details
As this is the start of my independent farm endeavor, any type of mentor is appreciated and invited. I am always open to learning new information, skills or practices.
In the future, I will be looking purchase property to continue the farm development.
Desired farming practices
Practices details
Preferably, the herd will be grass-fed without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. I do not believe in the use of growth hormones or unecessary antibiotic injections. The herd will grow with natural methods rather than synthetic reproduction or genetic herd management. Field rotation will be utilized to promote nutrient dense pasture preservation, with time, regenative additions such as chickens will improve the efficiency of patures.
Production goals
Goals details
I have a passion for farming and American agriculture. I dislike the direction we are currently moving toward - large corporate feed lots that discount nutrient quality and community health.
I want to bring back a strong and diverse local industry by providing honest grass-fed beef that holds production and resource quality to the utmost importance.
