Motivated and responsible aspiring farmer seeking 2–5 acres to establish a small-scale, sustainable farm.

I am an aspiring small-scale farmer with hands-on experience in garden-based food production, seeking to farm 2–5 acres in North Carolina. My plan is to grow vegetables and specialty crops using practical, sustainable methods that prioritize soil health, efficient water use, and consistent land care. I intend to start at a manageable scale, maintain the property responsibly, and communicate clearly with the landowner. My goal is a long-term, mutually beneficial farming arrangement that keeps the land productive and well stewarded.

Equipment and infrastructure details

I plan to operate with modest, appropriate-scale equipment suited for 2–5 acres. This includes access to a small tractor or walk-behind tractor, basic tillage and cultivation tools, irrigation (drip or hose-fed), and secure storage for tools and supplies. I prefer land with an existing water source and road access, but I am flexible and willing to invest in simple infrastructure improvements as needed. My approach prioritizes efficiency, safety, and minimal impact on the land.
