Active gardener looking to buy up to 20 acres to set up a personal farm (non-commercial - aka "hobby farm).
Plan
Hobby farm in retirement. A place where family and friends and come to try, learn, and experience regenerative gardening/farming techniques ... and to prevent the land from become a tract development.
Planning to establish/utilize:
- Large garden for annual vegetable crops for family/friends; no commercial intentions; over-production to go to food banks
- "Food forest" for perennial food sources; fruit, nuts, berries, grapes, perennial vegetables, compost materials
- small livestock - chickens, ducks, rabbits, potentially pygmy goats/pigs
