Seeking
- 0-5 Total acres
- 0-5 Acres of cropland or tillable land
- 0-5 Acres of pasture
Desired locations
Hardworking couple seeking a rental property to live on and help care for: land, animals, and garden work.
Plan
We are a responsible couple looking for a rental property where we can live full-time and care for it as our own. We can help with the animals, the garden, and upkeep, and we will be on the property every day, which gives the owner peace of mind. We use natural, low-impact practices. Good internet is important for being able to work online. We are open to helping with the work on the property. Later on, if things go well for both sides, we would love the possibility of buying. We also have an edible and functional mushroom project with our own equipment, which we could develop gradually, at whatever pace suits the property.
Desired infrastructure
Equipment and infrastructure details
We are primarily looking for a place to live full-time, ideally with a house or cabin, though we would also consider a property where we can place a tiny home or RV. Reliable water and good internet are important for being able to work online. We do not need agricultural facilities; we can develop them gradually.
Preferred type of opportunity
Opportunity details
We are primarily looking to rent a property to live in full-time and care for it as our own. We are open to arrangements that work well for both sides, and we are also interested in the possibility of buying.
Desired farming practices
Practices details
We use ecological, low-impact practices. We avoid unnecessary synthetic chemicals and build healthy soil through composting, mulching, and crop rotation. We also want to raise small livestock responsibly and in a way that respects the land. We are not certified organic, but we follow organic principles and care for the land as if it were our own.
Production goals
Goals details
We want a garden to grow part of our own food and, if there is room, to raise small livestock for our household, though it is not essential. We also have a small edible and functional mushroom project that we could develop gradually. We are looking for a property where we can start small and grow as the land allows.

Experience details
Our experience comes from years of hands-on work. Dany studied and worked on farms in Greenville, North Carolina, and managed a farm in Michigan, growing with organic practices. Today we care for poultry, hens, quail, and rabbits, and keep a vegetable and herb garden. We keep learning.
