Graduating student of Agribusiness Technology with farming experience needs land.

My plan as a farmer is to use the knowledge I have gained earning my degree in agribusiness technology, experience as a farm hand making cheese, and at home to have a successful farming business. I plant to buy land between 5 to 10 acres, use sustainable and organic methods to respect the environment and animals. My production will be cheeses, value added products from the crops, herbs, fruit trees etc I grow. I will have cows and sheep for milking and wool production. This will also be my primary residence with my children. I am currently earning my BASF certification as well.

Equipment and infrastructure details

I am perfectly fine with "blank" land. There doesn't need to be anything on it. I just want it to pass the perk test, and allow me to have a farm and a primary residence.

  • Sale (Cash or Mortgage)
  • Sale (Owner Financed)
  • Lease w/Option to Buy

Opportunity details

I am wanting to purchase land (between 5 and 10 acres) that I will be able to farm. This will also be my primary residence. I wish for it to not be around loud factories or a lot of light pollution.
Uses:
Crops, Orchard, Grazing, Home.

  • Regenerative
  • Ecological production but not certified

Practices details

I wish to grow on my farm without using harmful pesticides (those that are not included in organic allowances).

I also will limit tillage and reduce erosion by using cover crops.

My farm will use rotational grazing and crop rotation.

I will also use organic matter from the animals and no artificial chemical fertilizers.

I will introduce biodiversity by planting many types of native species and monitoring my land.

Every seventh year according to Exodus 23:10–11 and Leviticus 25:3–7  I will fallow my land.

I will also introduce honey bees and increase pollination by planting native flowers and providing hives.
