Desired locations
Aspiring regenerative farmer seeking 5+ acres through a lease-to-own or long-term arrangement to establish a food forest
Plan
I am an aspiring regenerative farmer seeking land to establish a long-term homestead and diversified farm. My goal is to build soil health and productivity through practices such as food forests, hugelkultur beds, composting, cover crops, pollinator habitats, rainwater collection, and minimal tillage. I plan to grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, berries, flowers, and specialty crops while improving the land’s ecological health. Long term, I hope to supply fresh, locally grown food to the community and a future café focused on organic, natural, and locally sourced ingredients. Lease-to-own preferred.
Desired infrastructure
Equipment and infrastructure details
I am seeking land with existing basic infrastructure such as water access, electricity, and septic or suitable soils for installation. Preferred equipment and infrastructure include usable outbuildings or barn space for storage, tool and material storage, and potential small-scale processing. Fenced areas or pasture would be a plus for future livestock integration. I am open to improving infrastructure over time, including installing irrigation systems, rainwater catchment, composting areas, hoop houses or greenhouses, and basic farm tools and equipment as the operation develops.
Preferred type of opportunity
Opportunity details
I am seeking a long-term land opportunity in North Carolina through lease-to-own, owner financing, or a flexible long-term lease with a landowner interested in stewardship. Ideally, the property is 5+ acres with access to water and electricity, and has potential for both farming and homesteading use. I am looking for a situation where I can invest in improving the land over time, develop regenerative agricultural systems, and build a productive farm that benefits both the landowner and the surrounding community. A collaborative, long-term arrangement is preferred over short-term leasing.
Desired farming practices
Practices details
My vision is to create a regenerative farm and homestead that works with nature rather than against it. I am passionate about building healthy soil, increasing biodiversity, conserving water, and growing a diverse mix of fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and specialty crops. My goal is to create a thriving ecosystem that produces healthy food, supports the local community, and becomes more productive and resilient each year.Future plans may include aquaculture, agroforestry, and integrated livestock systems to enhance biodiversity and farm produ

Experience details
My agricultural experience began with home gardening and raising chickens, goats, and pigs from a young age. Since 2016, I have worked at Matthews Produce, gaining experience in produce handling, merchandising, customer service, and seasonal agricultural operations. I have also worked with flower farmers in the Charlotte area and on a diversified vegetable farm operating a CSA program, where I assisted with planting, harvesting, and local food production. Additional experience includes conventional row-crop agriculture, including soybeans and hay. I continue to study regenerative farming, food forests, permaculture, and soil health practices.
