We've a small farm w/poultry, apiary, sugarbush, orchards, berries, herbs, & row crops. Seeking farm near Ashville NC.
Plan
We have an active regenerative farm focused on land and livestock stewardship using modern and conservation focused equipment and techniques to produce heirloom row crops, orchard fruits and berries, herbs, honey, maple syrup, broilers/eggs, and value added products of the highest quality.
We have family in Ashville, NC and would like to transition our operation to a location near there.

Practices details
Stewardship of the land, beginning with the soil and embedded in every practice from fermenting the supplemental feed for the free range chickens to rotational grazing fields and cover crops. Raised bed "plasticulture" (corn based) with covered drip irrigation, cold pressed Neem oil, BT, duct tape, netting and turkeys for water conservation and avoidance of pesticides and herbicides. Livestock live in natural habitats - swine on the hillside with access to the oak trees and shelters and broilers with moving shelters which are raised during daylight hours for full access to the fresh daily field. Egg layers with no supplemental winter lights so they can rest overw ter as nature intended.
