Looking for a peach orchard, pecan grove, or dairy farm

We have a regenerative pecan farm in TX. We grew up on beef ranches in TX and MT. We have an ice cream company and want to control inputs.

We are interested in expanding our pecan operations, producing frozen peaches, and various dairy products.

  • Farmer housing
  • Well / Pond / Other water source

Equipment and infrastructure details

Obviously everything can be built. Size really varies with whether we are doing a small u-pick peach operation with an ice cream shop, or running 160+ dairy cows.

  • Sale (Cash or Mortgage)
  • Sale (Owner Financed)

Opportunity details

We are looking for a small homestead/peach orchard to make into a small homestead/ice cream shop location, as well as larger places for use as a dairy farm, or small layer operation.

  • Regenerative

Practices details

We will be a regenerative operation. We are big fans of Gabe Brown, etc.

I've done some limited experimentation with aerobic composting - if practical, we would do that as well.

I want to do some chicken tractors/deep litter coops, but mostly for home use.  (We would need about 6000 layers, for work, and that seems like an awkward size.)

If we find a dairy farm, we would be robotic.  A friend has a farm worked to keep cow stress at a minimal level, and it has benefitted his solids production.

  • Cattle (Dairy / Beef)
  • Honey bees
  • Orchard / Vineyard
  • Poultry (Broiler / Layer)
  • Sheep/Goat (Dairy / Meat)

Goals details

We have a few different goals.  I'd like to find a peach orchard, to live on.  We need one for work, and I'd also want chickens, bees, etc on that.

If we can make it practical, we could use about 6000 layers for work, and I'd like to do capon production.

We would need about 130 head of dairy cows to keep up with work.  Again, that's a different operation - we would buy the farm, and try to hire a young farmer to operate it.
