Plan to raise rabbits & poultry for our meat source & to sell. Keep a small herd of dairy goats for personal needs and value added products. Large garden for personal use:
We focus on pollinator friendly practices.
Organic but not certified. Regenerative. Learning about hydroponics.
Desired infrastructure
Equipment and infrastructure details
Housing is required.
Barn, animal shelters, fencing, greenhouse would all be nice but not necessary.
A pond or well that could be utilized for waterfowl pool upkeep necessary.
Cold storage or space for it would be needed.
Preferred type of opportunity
Opportunity details
We’d love to take over the reins on an established homestead or hobby farm if an owner is ready to move on. We likely can’t qualify for a loan so leasing is our best bet.
We’d love to be able to grow produce year round, raise meat rabbits for ourselves and to market. Same for dairy goats. Chickens and quail as well. We sell hatching eggs for chickens, quail and waterfowl. Expanding that is a major goal.
Hurricane Helene wiped out the home we rented and we’ve been in campers since November’24. Rented a house in another state in October, 2025.
