Seeking to start a farm for my family!

I’ve had some experience with crops grown for my family’s use but look to ultimately build a homestead where we can living fully self sustainable. My wife, 3 kids, and I aim to start “from the ground up” as best we can. In the future we would like to be able to grow all of our own food and also raise farm animals as well for meat.

Equipment and infrastructure details

Any equipment that can be utilized will be greatly appreciated but also not necessary

  • Sale (Owner Financed)
  • Lease (1 to 5 Years)
  • Lease w/Option to Buy
  • Lease w/Mentoring

Opportunity details

Trying to get started off the ground, leasing just to at least get a foothold is acceptable. Lease to own would be preferable

  • Regenerative
  • Conventional
  • Certified organic

Practices details

Higher focus on crops over fam animals

  • Field crops
  • Hogs
  • Honey bees
  • Poultry (Broiler / Layer)
  • Sheep/Goat (Dairy / Meat)
  • Vegetables
  • Woodlot or forest products

Goals details

The goal is homesteading to a point where me and mine are taken care of. If there is a surplus then the goal would be more to share with the community rather than making profit
