Seeking
- 11-50 Total acres
- 6-10 Acres of pasture
Desired locations
Seeking farm land to start a new farm or take over a farm so i can live my dream and leave it to my kids one day
Plan
I have 0 experience with farming. However it’s always been a dream of mine to have my own cows, horses, and chickens. My oldest son and I love to ride horses. My step son, who has autism, would greatly benefit from having his own horse. I would love to be able to run a non profit horse therapy business one day. I also want to be able to grow my own food and give my children the best place to grow up. We are a family of hunters, and outdoor people. I have also started making my own tallow products and I’d love the ability to source tallow from my own cows and get some fresh milk from them. My father and sons would love to work the farm and I would love to as well when I’m not teaching.
Desired infrastructure
Preferred type of opportunity
Opportunity details
I’d love to take over an already established farm and workout pricing and ownership with the owner. Too much of our land is being developed and not many people my age are interested in farming they just want the money. I on the other hand want the “slower” way of life and the ability to live my dream.
Desired farming practices
Practices details
I want to give my family and others the healthiest options they can have by growing food using 0 pesticides etc.
I also want my cows to be grass fed and finished

I volunteered at a horse therapy stable when I was in high school.
I have taken riding lessons for horseback over the past years.
My uncle use to rent some of his land in PA and they kept horses on it. We would help take care of them and ride them when the owners came by.
