Plan
I will be farming in an organic and sustainable manner. I will be growing produce and a small orchard of apples, pears, peaches, and berries. Along with egg laying chickens, goats, and a few horses for therapeutic purposes to work with veterans. I will also use the farm to work with youth and teach them useful skills along with cooking, food preservation skills and equipment operations and do community classes as well.

I would like to start as organic as possible with limited plowing following preventive practices

I will have berries and vegetables mostly tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cabbage and greens some root vegetables as well, with some added crops and value added products like pickles the goal is to rotate crops every year to protect the land as well.

I have worked at a farm and then managed it for ~6 years now. I am currently enrolled in a program at NC State. I’ve done the armed to farm training programs as well.
