Seeking
- 0-5 Total acres
- 0-5 Acres of cropland or tillable land
Desired locations
Looking to lease a small acreage farm with a house on the property.
Plan
I am a young, aspiring farmer looking for a piece of land to lease where I can establish a small farm focused on vegetable and fruit production, with the possibility of keeping chickens. As a beginner, I am eager to learn and grow in a space that allows me to develop my skills while contributing to local agriculture. A home on the property is essential, as I want to live where I farm, fully immersing myself in the daily rhythms of the land. I am seeking a property that offers enough space for diverse crop production and sustainable practices, with room to expand as I gain experience.

Practices details
I aspire to farm using sustainable, ecologically sound practices that nurture the land while feeding the community. My focus is on growing diverse vegetables and fruits, integrating native plants, and possibly raising chickens for soil health, pest control, and eggs. I want to prioritize regenerative methods like low-till, composting, and cover cropping to build soil fertility and biodiversity. Education and community engagement are central to my vision—I want the farm to be a space for learning, connection, and joyful interaction with nature. My goal is to create a thriving, resilient farm that gives back to both people and the environment.

Experience details
I recently graduated with a Masters of Outdoor and Environmental Education while farming in Alaska. I started as a farm intern working 40 hours May-Oct then became the assistant manager of that same farm the next season. I also have experience of working and maintaining a large scale hydroponics greenhouse growing lettuce, herbs, flowers, and peppers.
