Experience details
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from Tennessee State University (TSU), where I studied plant and soil science, sustainable agriculture, and food systems. I completed the TSU/University of Tennessee New Farmers Academy, receiving hands-on training in farm business planning, production systems, and agricultural entrepreneurship. In 2024, I was selected as a cohort member of the Wonderpeople Microfarm program, gaining practical experience in intensive small-scale and urban crop production.
In addition, I have served as a vendor at the TSU Fresh Farmers Market and as a grower within the TSU Community Garden, where I produced crops, and contributed to community-based food access
