- 6-10 Acres of pasture
- 0-5 Acres of hayland
Desired locations
Seeking land to grow vegetables and raise chickens and goats through sustainable farming.
Plan
I have more than 8 years of hands-on farming experience, including 2 years of farm management experience. I plan to establish and operate a productive part-time farm while continuing my career as a registered nurse.
My farming plans include growing a variety of vegetables and raising chickens and goats. I am interested in responsible, sustainable farming practices, efficient use of land and resources, and maintaining healthy soil and animals. I plan to sell the farm's produce and livestock products and gradually expand the operation as it becomes established.
I am seeking suitable farmland to apply my farming experience, build a sustainable operation, and generate income through farming.
Desired infrastructure
Equipment and infrastructure details
I am seeking a well-equipped, productive farm property with a barn, secure fencing, livestock facilities, and suitable farmer housing. Preferred infrastructure includes reliable farm equipment, agricultural machinery, a greenhouse, irrigation systems, and a dependable water source such as a well or pond. Cold storage would be highly valuable for preserving vegetables, eggs, and other farm products. These facilities would support efficient vegetable production, poultry and goat operations, pasture and hay management, and future expansion into a sustainable, profitable farm operation.
Preferred type of opportunity
Opportunity details
I am seeking a farm property of approximately 11–50 acres suitable for vegetable production, chickens, goats, and hay/pasture. I am open to purchasing, owner financing, a long-term lease, or a lease with an option to buy. I prefer a property with existing housing, barn, fencing, reliable water, tillable land, and basic farm infrastructure. I am looking for an opportunity where I can begin farming immediately and gradually expand the operation.
Desired farming practices
Practices details
I plan to combine conventional and regenerative farming practices, with an emphasis on healthy soil, responsible care of vegetables, chickens, and goats, efficient use of water and resources, crop rotation, composting, and sustainable land management. I will use practical methods appropriate for the crops, livestock, land, and local conditions.
Production goals
Goals details
I plan to operate a part-time, diversified farm producing vegetables, poultry, goats, and hay/pasture. I will combine conventional and regenerative practices, focusing on healthy soil, crop rotation, composting, responsible livestock care, efficient use of water and resources, and sustainable land management. I plan to sell vegetables, eggs, livestock, and other farm products through local markets and direct sales. My goal is to build a productive and financially sustainable farm and gradually expand production as the operation becomes established.
