I’m a landscape architect building a farm business that blends sound land design with regenerative livestock practices.

I am currently in the planning and build-out phase of my farm business near the Triangle area of North Carolina. I am not yet operating at full production; my focus right now is to set up the farm correctly so it can become profitable, compliant, and repeatable once animals are on-site. while raising pasture pigs.

Practices details

My farm will be built around pasture-based livestock management and land stewardship. I want a system that is profitable, but also improves the property over time through better ground cover, healthier soils, and well-managed nutrient cycling. Practically, that means I will prioritize rotational management, controlled disturbance, and consistent infrastructure so the land is protected while the animals perform well.

Goals details

My goal is to build a profitable, pasture-based farm near the Triangle area of North Carolina with pasture-raised pigs as the primary enterprise and a small vegetable garden as a supportive component. I am designing the operation to be efficient, compliant, and scalable starting at a manageable size and expanding only as infrastructure, land capacity, and sales demand allow. My guiding principle is to run a farm that is both a business and a stewardship project: animals are raised humanely, the land is protected from avoidable damage, and the system improves soil and ground cover over time.
